Custom Glass Tabletops and Shelves in New Jersey

Custom-cut glass tabletops and shelves: protective, decorative, and built to your exact specifications.

Totowa Glass cuts custom tabletops, shelves, and desk protectors to your exact dimensions, in-house, for homeowners and businesses across North Jersey and Central Jersey. No matter how unusual the shape or size, if you can measure it, we can very likely cut it.

Glass Tabletops Cut to Size

Dining Tables

Protective or decorative glass tops cut to fit any table shape, from rectangular to round to custom angles, so your existing table gets a top that actually matches it rather than a compromise size.

Coffee Tables

Custom glass tops for existing coffee table bases, with your choice of edge finish and thickness, ideal for updating a table base you already own and like.

Desk Protectors

Clear glass panels cut to fit your desk exactly, including cutouts for cable management where needed, protecting the surface underneath while keeping a clean, professional look.

Conference Tables

Glass tops sized for conference and meeting room tables, built to hold up to daily commercial use without showing wear.

Custom Glass Shelves

Floating Shelves

Glass shelving that appears to float on the wall, a popular choice in bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces for a clean, minimal look with no visible hardware.

Display Shelving

Retail and showroom shelving designed to highlight merchandise clearly without distracting from what is actually on display.

Retail and Bathroom Shelves

Durable glass shelving cut to fit existing cabinetry, medicine cabinets, or custom display units, especially useful when a replacement shelf needs to match an older, non-standard size.

Glass Types for Tabletops and Shelves

We offer clear, frosted, tinted, and low-iron glass for tabletops and shelving, along with tempered glass for any application where safety glass is recommended or required, such as tables and shelves in homes with young children. See our full glass types guide.

How to Provide Measurements

You can send us your measurements directly, or we can send someone to your home or business to measure on-site for the most accurate fit. On-site measurement is especially useful for irregular shapes, angled corners, or existing furniture with worn or uneven edges where a small measuring error could otherwise mean a piece that does not sit flush.

Thickness Options and What Each Handles

Thinner glass, generally in the quarter-inch range, works well for smaller shelves and light-duty tabletop protectors that mainly need to guard against scratches. Mid-range thickness, around three-eighths of an inch, is a common choice for standard dining tables and desk protectors. Thicker glass, closer to half an inch, is better suited to larger dining and conference tabletops or shelving that will carry heavier items on a regular basis. We will recommend the right thickness based on the size, glass type, and intended use of your specific piece, so you are not paying for more glass than the project actually needs.
